Yep things are closing down again here in California. I get why ... the skyrocketing Covid-19 cases are pretty scary.

So for now no beaches, no bars and everything in between. Sure it’s for a good reason like saving lives but I still hanker for a weekend day trip to the beach to soak up some Vitamin D and breathe the ocean air.

Truth? Walking barefoot in the surf with my two dogs is one of the best things about summer. But instead of getting mad, I decided to get resilient.

If your fav beach is closed to prevent a viral tsunami ... think big:

Insta-Beach Recipe

1. One mini kiddie pool or foot soaking tub.
2. Place outside.
3. Grab hose. Fill kiddie pool or foot soaker with cold water.
4. Grab a few of towels, fav snacks and tunes before lathering up with sunscreen.
5. Swimming may be tricky but try immersing body parts in rotation and feel the tension float away.
